[Voice]

Is it over now? No one's gonna to start singing in front of my house again, or coming by to clean it, right?

[a short sigh, then--]

... That one was way too long. At least that's the end of it. Hope so, anyway. [It sounds more like he was telling himself that rather than stating the obvious, though.]

Why do you care?

I don't. [Which is a lie, but damn if he ever admits to anything.] But you're getting everyone else upset. [... Which may or may not be a lie, but it sounds believable enough to him.]

Oh? Am I really? 'Cause I don't hear any weepin' cries of "oh Raven we miss you please come home, it's just not the same without you!" anywhere. Must be all in yer head kid.

[So much for being mature.]

[Oh so that's how it's going to be.]

Oh yeah? I guess I'll have to tell them their expectations of you were set a little too high, then. I'll be sure to tell them to cry into the journal, begging you to come home next chance I get.

Hah, why would anyone expect anything worthwhile from me? You guys must've all gone crazy bein' stuck in this place fer so long.

[... Raven has said something similar before in the past, but something about that seems a little stronger than the last time. That makes him pause slightly -- but it doesn't stop him from keeping up the level of "maturity".]

Yeah, you're right -- we're completely insane. We all seemed to expect a little more from you, after everything we've been through, but I guess that's just what happens when you lose your mind.

I hope yer not forgettin' about that time line thing? I'm from a lot earlier than you, we haven't had the wonderful joy of bondin'.

I could almost mistake this conversation as ya showin' signs of concern fer this old man!

[... Well, that makes that obvious. And explains why the old man stormed out and didn't come back. ... Man, this was getting to be much more of a pain than he was hoping. Ugh. Maybe he should convince Karol to bawl over the journal or something.]

If that's what you're getting from this, then you're losing it too, old man.

No, I was bein' sarcastic. A trait I figured you of all people would be an expert in the field of.

Besides, I lost it a long, long time ago. I wouldn't need Luceti ta remind me I've got a few screws loose.

With you, it's hard to tell sometimes.

[But whatever. If Raven was going to act like an infant about all this, he'll just back off for now and try to get someone who doesn't want to punch the old man in the face to handle this.]

But fine, whatever. Do what you want. I could care less.

If ya really don't care about me, then why did ya ask me when I was comin' home? And why are we even callin' it home?

I already told you -- you leaving upset everyone else.

[And threw him off because he expected to see you back in at least a day. Jerk. HE'S THE CAPTAIN OF THIS CREW, NO ONE CAN GET OFF HIS BOAT UNLESS HE TELLS THEM TO. ... AND ACTUALLY MEANS IT WHEN HE DOES.

And he's not getting into the other question. That just leads down lanes he doesn't want to go near right now, so he ignores it completely.]

Let's see, who lives in the house? First we got you, you wouldn't miss me because I flipped out at ya 'cause you decided ta take a wander through my thoughts when I was in that body.

Then we got the kid, who's been advertisin' that guild over the journals again. He seems fine ta me! I can't say I'm a prime example fer him ta follow.

Flynn is probably cryin' over where Captain Schwann vanished off to, which makes no difference to how he normally is regarding me. That and yer little house party over the weekend would've kept him occupied enough.

Estelle has Rita with her, then there's the fact that, oh right! I kidnapped her, she's more than likely quite happy ta know I'm not around. Which before we get inta that conversation, she was still under Alexei's control before I got dragged here.

Our little genius mage would quite happily like ta hear that my corpse has been found, and Nan could probably care less what happens to a member of a rival guild; let alone one from Altosk. I don't see that dog of yers being too upset either, ( ... )

[Hey, you told me to come pester you at the Battle Dome. Co-incidentally, Raven happened to be just outside. He had the feeling Yuri wouldn't have much to say about that, in truth, he didn't mean most of it either. If he couldn't settle it over the journal, then he'd track Yuri down and settle in in person.

Besides, Yuri isn't the one in the wrong here and Raven knows it.]

Ya know Yuri, it's really rude ta shut the journal on someone when they're bein' melodramatic. And I'm too old ta be playin' childish games like this.

[Noooooo, his hidey-hole how did you find him? ... Aside from this being the most likely place he'd be. Regardless, when he steps outside and hears Raven speaking, he stops. ... Dammit, he didn't want to deal with him right now.

... Well, not much he can do about that, aside from play off the "don't want to bother" feeling with his usual attitude.]

I've never been known for being polite.
