a bramble of days

I'm going to have less time as the year moves on. Lately I've been devouring dramas, choosing stories I hadn't thought about not long ago. My attention has been a firefly, flickering from one story to another just whenever I was in the mood. It's been fun. I thought I was going to watch certain things (points to Very Serious List), but then I found myself picking the unexpected.

I'm less forgiving. If I enter a drama's landscape and keep looking at the clock, or pausing to do something else, I'm giving it up. My list is too long.

But I'm going to have less time in the coming months, so I'm choosing carefully. One thing's for sure: unless it turns out to be really bad, I'll be watching Faith.

  1. It's made by the same PD/writer team that made Legend
  2. I find the Goryeo period interesting (see also: Iron Empress)
  3. I'm distressed and saddened by the scarcity of time-travel dramas lately. I feel like I've been waiting weeks for someone to make another one.
Lee Min-Ho actually isn't one of my reasons, but then I never got around to watching either City Hunter or Boys Over Flowers. I really do want to try the first one sometime, but I keep putting it off.

faith, city hunter, the legend, the iron empress
