Willow wasn't giggling. She'd never giggle at her two favorite knights. She might watch them with great bemusement, however. She might also feel grateful that she didn't have to play horsie while currently carrying around Alex's little sister to be.
She might also need to debate which of her adorable boys she wanted to kiss first when they were done.
"Good form, Alex," she said. Not that she knew if there was a proper form for this kind of riding, but she wanted to be positive.
Peter snorted at the compliment, responding to Alex's kicks urging him to trot faster. There was only so fast a human horsey could trot though so he paused by the desk, reaching back to tug Alex forward so he could whisper in his ear. After a moment, Alex giggled, looking over at his mama, then nodded eagerly.
The horse assumed his position again and trotted over to Willow. The little boy looked up, filled with importance as he asked "May I carry your favour, my lady?" He paused then leaned down to whisper loudly, "was that right?"
Willow? Totally dead of cute. She was also a little teary but she was totally going to blame that on the pregnancy hormones.
"You may, handsome knight," Willow said. She reached up to undo a ribbon from her hair so that she could present it to Alex. "I would be honored if you would accept this humble gift."
"S'not humble!" Alex contradicted. "It's a string!"
Peter coughed, trying to hold in his laugh. "Ribbon." He sat up on his knees, reaching to hold Alex on his back, and smiled up at Willow. "Your mother doesn't give out her ribbons easily. It's special."
Alex looked unimpressed but held his hand out. "Special string?"
