Cair Paravel: Middle of Sunday Night: Peter and Willow's Rooms

The reports that Peter had been reading during the day kept him awake as the night wore on, and finally he slipped out of bed, trying not to disturb Willow and shrugged into a robe before looking around into the darkness of the room.  Wandering down to the stables or the armoury would mean others waking up, and he didn't think he could do much more

Peter probably wasn't expecting a little window to pop up on his screen, just as Edmund hadn't been expecting Peter to ever show up on his computer.

TamedByLion: Peter, what are you doing using a computer?

KnightofNarnia: I bloody well know how to use a computer!

...okay, so it had only taken him five minutes to figure out what that little window was, why the computer was chirping at him, and how to reply.

TamedByLion: Of course you do. But what are you doing using one? Did Willow bring about a Narnian Industrial Revolution while I was gone? I'll be very put out if she did.

KnightofNarnia: No Industrial Revolution without you being a part of it, Ed? No, there is only one connected to the Fandom network.

TamedByLion: Glad to hear it. I'd imagine that the introduction of television and the internet to Narnia would leave us with a Bitterwoman fan club and some very unfit centaurs, which isn't exactly good for the army. Speaking of, you are going to pass along this month's intelligence reports, aren't you?

Not that he didn't already have his own, but Peter didn't need to know that right now.

KnightofNarnia: I see what you did there with the segue. Very nice. Tell me, have you experiences Bitterwoman yet? Are you her number one fan?

TamedByLion: I wouldn't call myself her number one fan, but have you seen how quick her reflexes are? Very impressive. Rather like my segues. I've been working on them in between classes.

Well, in between classes and not jumping off a cliff due to boredom.

KnightofNarnia: Perhaps you need a hobby?

TamedByLion: They frown upon hunting deer in the Preserve, I haven't found a chess partner and there's only so much time I can spend with the horses in town. Would you have me take up line dancing?

KnightofNarnia: This is always ballet. You'd look dashing in those shoes.

TamedByLion: As tempting as it sounds, pink isn't my colour and leotards aren't suited to my figure. Seriously Peter, how did you manage to stay here and not go mad from restlessness?

KnightofNarnia: That's quite a compliment coming from you, brother. I would have thought you thought me mad already. It never compared to Narnia, but it wasn't all bad. I learned a lot.

TamedByLion: You can't go mad if you're already mad. I don't know what I'm supposed to learn, but I suppose that I haven't learned it yet because I'm still here. I never was very good at meeting new people. Speaking of new people (another segue, you see), I trust the very small person who has yet to make its appearance is doing well?

KnightofNarnia: Perhaps you should start to acquire the skill then since said very small would like to meet his uncle at some point. Or perhaps the idea of another diplomatic debacle like that one three years back which spent a good part of my sanity would help propel you towards it.

TamedByLion: You mean the diplomatic debacle we agreed never to speak of again? You wouldn't by any chance be speaking about it now, would you?
