"So it seems," Peter said with a small smile. "It's that time."

"I guess going around and stealing all the batteries out of everybody's clocks isn't enough of a foolproof plan, huh?" asked Anders ruefully. "Good thing I didn't try that. What's the plan for when you head home? Assuming that's where you're going."

"Think you would have had to do that before now," Peter pointed out. "Going home, yes, back to Narnia. No plans beyond that." He shrugged. "It's been waiting too long already."

"They've probably been missing you a lot," Anders said thoughtfully. "Anybody would, guy like you. But we'll be missing you here, too."

"Thank you, Anders," Peter said sincerely. "I'll be missing here too. And the people here very much."

"I'd count on her for that," Anders agreed. "I'm not a fan of anybody dropping out of contact. And I gotta say I never got the chance to know you as well as I could've, but I'm damn proud to say I went to school with you."

Peter looked surprised and then smiled. "Thank you, Anders. I'm incredibly proud to have known you as well. I'll never forget that first summer with basketball and the World Cup."

"Oh, yeah," Anders said, chuckling. "Those were good times, huh? Been a lot of good times here, and don't forget it."

Peter grinned and snapped Anders a salute. "There'll be more. You'll have to come to Narnia for one."

"I'm all about the visiting," Anders laughed. "Not like the good times are gonna end just because we're graduating. We just get to do more sightseeing to have 'em."

"Then luckily I have a very scenic home," he chuckled. "Good times and scenery all in one."

"Now that's efficient vacationing," Anders laughed. "I'm looking forward to seeing it."
