He obviously doesn't want to talk, and she doubts her antics will make him feel better. Ammy isn't entirely sure what's wrong, but there seems to be only one thing that could be wrong to make him feel like this.
But she can't just leave him there, not after seeing him like that. So, Ammy will walk to Yuri's other side and lay down beside him, head close for pettings if he wants to, but she isn't asking for it. She's just giving him company.]

For a few minutes, Yuri doesn't do anything, aside from continuing to watch the horizon. But after that, he finally lifts a hand and places it on Ammy's head, lightly petting it.
He appreciates the company, Ammy -- even if he's not saying a word or showing much of a sign of doing so, he really does.]
