I just burned her a cd.....
Three days of school this week. ONLY THREE DAYS OF SCHOOL! Yup. Monday was Labor Day, and Tuesday they decided to give us the day off because of the hurricane that came last weekend. A tree fell on my cousins house during this storm. Crushed his parents room. They are staying at my grandma's house until they can move back into their pad.
The three days of school weren't that bad. Just felt a little drained, and rusty after our 6 day weekend. But I got back into the rhythm of things. In both of my art classes we had to do Art History all week, then we could work on our projects or read. I read in bothe classes on Wednesday and Thrusday. Today i worked on my projects in both.
By the way, if you are wondering about the title, there is a little story. Last Wednesday (9/1) this girl in my painting class liked my Incubus shirt. We kind of talked for a little bit; she asked my name and my grade and gave me her name. Her name is Joanna. Anyway, she asked me to burn A Crow Left of the Murder cd (being that the album art was on my shirt). I of course said yes. So I burned it when I got home, then heard school was cancelled on Thursday and Friday. I was like "crap" because I wanted to give her the cd.
So when we finally got back to school on Wednesday, I brought the cd and she wasn't there. No big deal. I just brought it the next day and gave it to her. When I handed her the cd she seemed all surprised that I remembered I guess. But she was like "O MY GOD! CAN I HUG YOU?!?" I was like "sure." So she gave me a hug.
See. Nothing big, but it made my week. Mostly because girls just don't talk to me randomly.
