The San Francisco Giants DESTROYED the Texas Rangers in Game 2 by a score of 9-0 last night. It was close for most of the game. The Giants had a 2-0 lead until the 8th, when they scored 7 runs! The rally started with 2 outs and no one on base! Texas's bullpen walked 4 batters, two of witch forced in runs! Matt Cain was dominant in 7 1/3 innings of scoreless ball for the Giants. He now has pitched 21 2/3 innings in his postseason career without giving up a run. It's the 3rd longest streak in the history of baseball. Texas now heads home down 2 games to none. Of 51 teams that have taken a 2-0 World Series lead, 40 of them have won the series. The last team to come back from a 2-0 deficit to win the series was the 1996 Yankees against the Atlanta Braves. Game 3 is tomorrow.
