Red Wings Game
Last night, Kathy and I went to Game 4 of the playoff series between the Phoenix Coyotes and Detroit Red Wings. The Coyotes were leading the best-of-7 series 2 games to 1. The Red Wings could not afford to go down 3 games to one and then have to go back to Phoenix for game 5. The first period was scoreless. Valtteri Filppula scored a goal that the referee called back, but the replay showed that it should have been a goal. The fans were pissed and cheered "bullshit!" There was no goals scored until more than halfway through the 2nd period when the Wings finally scored. They added two more in the 3rd and won by a score of 3-0. It was a great game with lots of fist-a-cuffs. The series is now tied 2-2 with game 5 Friday in Phoenix. Kathy and I had a great time.
