Been getting up every morning at 3 a.m. to drive Warren to or from his watches, so I've been quite tired and haven't had much down time in the evenings to make calls to people. One of those mornings, got pulled over by a cop for doing nothing wrong. Yeah, he had excuses of why he pulled me over, but none of them fit. Thank goodness he didn't

My man underestimates himself all the time but does seemingly nothing to balance that out. For instance, he had little to no confidence that he'd pass, yet he didn't much go out of his way to study, at least not in front of me. (I've mentioned this before.) But yeah, he passed and I'm really happy that he did. He's going to be taking a 3-month extension class starting Thursday. After the class, if things are still structured the same way that they are now, he'll be able to take the DLPT again and they'll disregard the low score. Wahoo!

Yeah, our alarm is cool. There's a little light by the driver's side that flashes when the alarm is armed, so I hope that will be enough of a deterrent. If not, we lowered our deductible to $0 for now so that if someone does do something to the car again we won't have to pay for it (other than the few bucks more we pay per month on our insurance bill). Also, if Warren goes up a paygrade as we're hoping, we'll be able to afford renter's insurance which means we wouln't have to pay out of pocket to replace any items should someone actually get into the car again. Fucked up the way the world works, huh? Gotta spend money to save money sometimes. Fucking jackasses who can't make an honest living piss me off...
