Modest mouse was crazy. Love is Laughter played a way better show as an opener than the drunken sloppy mess that Modest Mouse was.
On the way home from the show we got into a "black top cab" that we flagged down. He asked us where we wanted to go and we told him and then he just sat there quietly, with sort of a fucked up look in his eyes. He called dispatch to get directions to our place, and he's waiting and talking for a bit and then we hear dispatch say to the driver a few times, "stay right where you are, the police are on their way, you're being charged with battery".
You better fucking believe we exploded on out of that cab and down the street yelling and running as fast as we fucking could.
