(no subject)
So I last updated about a week ago I suppose! Sunday was Church, and then Kegan came over and we went to the mall to try and find him a Christmas present. I was going to get him a winter jacket or something, but of course he didn't find anything. Sheesh. So I was left trying to find something that he would like. He is soo hard to buy for you wouldn't even believe. But I think it will get easier eventually, especially once he moves out. Then we went to the Heron Reserve and took some pictures. I liked how a few turned out, maybe I'll post them sometime. Then after dinner we went to Mandy's house for a bibe study-ish thing. That was fun, I miss being around people from youth and church like that.
Monday I went and bought Kegan some cologne from Superstore and then took it home and opened it but it definately wasn't what he wears. They put the wrong tester in front of the bottle, and I know Kegan doesn't smell like old man. So when I worked on Tuesday I brought it back. Tuesday I went shopping and picked up a different kind of cologne, I really hope he likes it. I also got some picture frames and some pictures developed to put in them for him. And I also got him this mini chocolate fondue thing, because anything that has to do with chocolate makes me think of him. He's obsessed with chocolate, maybe he loves it even more than me. Maybe I should just change my name to Chocolate. haha, nice.
Wednesday I did pretty much nothing since I had to work 1-10. Thursday I worked 11-6. Friday I worked 11:30-4:30. Then Kegan came over after he got off work at 7 and he got to see how amazingly clean my room is. The cleaning part occurred somewhere between Monday to Wednesday by the way. I had so much junk in here and like 3 garbage bags of stuff to throw out ( I know, I know, shut up). Anyways, so I helped him get some last Christmas presents for his family and we came back to my house and wrapped them too. We got most of them done. We might be doing the rest of them today. I had to work 8pm-12am tonight, as in I just got home a half an hour ago. I should probably get to bed since I have to go to Church in the morning.
Well....Christmas is just around the corner, in fact we're pretty much about to turn into it.
With it brings lots of turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes and the like. I seriously love Christmas time. I don't like the crazy gift-buying frenzy, although it is easy to get caught up in. I don't like how people get all obsessed with grocery shopping and needing a million and one pricechecks on every toy in Superstore buuuut I still love Christmas. Spending time with the family together and different traditions are fun and it just makes me appreciate things even more. I really do feel sincerely blessed with the life God has set before me. I know things aren't perfect but I don't know how I ever deserved to have things so good. I hope everyone else takes the time to realize the good things they have too.
Later today (technically) Kegan and I will hopefully get together, maybe he'll come to Church, and then we'll part ways to our different Christmas Eve dinners. Christmas day I have family gift opening in the Morning, then to his house in the afternoon and back at mine for Dinner again.
