Djimon Hounsou was TOTALLY ROBBED of 'Best Supporting Actor' for his role in Blood Diamond. He lost to EDDIE MURPHY!!#$%^&!!! What the?!?! BOOO hissssssss booo!! Djimon is one of the most incredible actors i have ever seen... and keeps getting overlooked. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
America Ferrera, however, deservedly won her category. She is brilliant. Hugh Laurie is also wonderful.
At the very beginning of the show, all of the celebrities are sitting around their tables, whilst the camera singles out certain actors whilst they make a pledge. Oh Lord I want this. I have never wanted to perform more than i do right at this minute. Rather than being discouraged by the rejection, poverty and harships that come along with following such an enourmous dream, I am DRIVEN by it. I want the 8487 rejections from casting agents. I want to live on nothing but SPAM in a can and soda water. I want to spend years learning how it's done. I want the bohemian life of living for what you love. Living to work, not working to live. It's all tragic and a horrifically romantic view for one's career, but... I WANT it. I WILL devote my life to it.
Dreams are food for the soul. And i can safely say... I'm full:)
