The guy who was just speaking said that there were going to be all different kinds of people coming together from different belief systems including "fucking racists" and you're going to have to put up with racists and find some consensus with them.
That's a bit extreme (to put it mildly), but what I love about Occupy Wall Street is that it transcends liberal political correctness and libertarian Tea Party self-interest...you actually have a movement that has Democrats, Socialists, Libertarians, Independents...even Republicans. It's backed by Ron Paul as well as many people who hold office as Democrats.
THIS IS OUTSTANDING. THIS IS PROGRESS.
It may not happen overnight, but this is happening in REAL TIME (not just on-line)....these people of varying political backgrounds coming together for a common anti-corporate cause is FANTASTIC.
