Oh Dear My Shoes
So at least 23 people are dead on the East coast due to this ice storm. But in a recent article in the associated press, they found it newsworthy to quote some stupid bitch that complained that her $65 shoes were ruined by the weather.

Also, as much as I'm pleased that Barack Obama is our new prez,he needs to keep the jokes about how Chicago handles ice storms in a superior manner to himself. He's not acknowledging that Chicago handles snow better because they're prepared for the weather. In other places, especially those not used to heavy snows, the storms are actually deadly because of a lack of things like snow plows, road salt, etc. Even here in West Virginia - a mountainous state that gets winter snow - we don't have quite enough salt to handle this storm.
