Right now, there's no known sure-fire way of leaving. There's a rumor that if you get eight badges, you can leave, but it's never been proven and the proof there IS is sketchy at best.

Instead, people just come and go at random.

I see... [ Flynn pauses to consider things for a moment. It's not a lot to go on - and he's still not entirely sure what these 'badges' are, though the handbook mentioned them - but it's a start. He'll simply continue investigating when he gets to a larger town. ] That sounds rather frustrating - but I'm sure there must be something we can do. It's just a matter of searching thoroughly.

Yeah, that seems to be the only thing we can do. This place is pretty huge, so somewhere, there might be something.
