The title of this poem actually came from a comment written in the
astrology community, when it was describing someone's astrology chart. I actually like the expression and I want the name for myself as like a username or some kind of screen name or something. XD
Anyway, this poem isn't finished, and I don't think this is the nice, polished edited version. I think it's kinda morbid/depressing/solemn/introspective but I hope that I can get some positive/optimistic parts to it, because life is just like that. :)
Dark Weirdo
She's part of the dark side,
they say.
They look over, whisper,
with their hands to their face.
Isn't that a little suspicious,
they say.
One little glance and they disperse.
1.
How can one define darkness,
when there's truly no answer for it?
Sparse words from the dictionary:
the absence of light.
What is light? And who is to say,
after all,
that having no light is bad?
2.
Darkness.
One may become accustomed to it,
others, frightened, scared.
For others, it may be a way of life.
How often do you find someone embrace it?
Truly, is there a difference between darkness and evil?
A blind man seeks his way into the world,
through darkened paths.
Who is to say,
dark paths are bad at all?
3.
When did things change?
She looked around,
all around her,
groups of people chattering,
some on their very own,
and she,
stood still.
Different.
What had changed?
She, or the groups around her?
Their hair, their clothes, their style,
their attitudes, the way they talked or laughed or loved...
The tree leaves change outside of the window,
with the passing seasons,
but they never seem to change.
Just her.
Or is it her staying still?
Gah, now I got Sakura Kiss in my head. "KISS KISS FALL IN LOVE! MAYBE YOU'RE MY LOVE!" I swear, Ouran is one of the crackiest but yet lovable shows I have seen in a LONG time.
Dunno when this one will be finished, but hopefully, it'll be good. :) Another epic poem from me, I guess. XDD
