Ok, funny story....
Well, it's not really funny... actually it's not funny at all.
I went to Vienna today to help a friend pick up a car she was buying. I had to head back to get to work, but while in rush hour traffic on 66, the guy in front of me slammed on his brakes (because the guy in front of him did as well) and I couldn't stop in time. I'm okay, I'm not hurt or anything, but the front end of my car is totally effed up. I couldn't even drive it and had to get it towed.
And to add insult to injury (figuratively) I also got a ticket for "following too closely". Which is total BS, because I was maintaining a safe following distance, it just happened to too quickly. I'm not going to contest it because it's not worth the trouble, it's just annoying. The guy I hit got a ticket too though, because he hit the guy in front of HIM, so at least I wasn't the only one.
Anyway, we won't know if the car is fixable until Dad talks to the insurance company. Right now I just have to figure out how to get to work for the next couple of days and whether or not we'll need to get a rental car. *sigh*
My poor dragonwing is crippled! ;_; But at least no one was hurt, so I guess that's the important thing.
