Wedding prep, wildlife & bathroom woes....
I ought to update more!
At the moment life is mostly consisting of work & doing similar wildlife realated stuff outside of work (seriously, sometimes I have difficulty working out where my work ends & hobbies begin! I love my job!).
Around this I am doing low level wedding plotting, notice to marry given, registry office & venue booked, ceilidh band booked, food will hopefully be sorted next weekend (when I'm seeing my cousin the caterer!), some ideas re decorations are in being processed... Table, chair, linen etc hire to be sorted next.
Oh yes, the dress! Mock up #1 looked great (albeit made out of old curtains!), bodice mockup #2 fits perfectly. Mock up #2 will be made soon & will hopefully be used as a dress in it's own right... Fabric is all acquired, possibly need more trim though.... Mum's friend kindly gave us a load of white silk brocade for free! Please let me know if you you have strong wishes to be included or excluded from further wedding babble as I may set up a locked group for those ramblings.
Of course there's also the ongoing bathroom fiasco, we have walls, the inside bathroom ones have paint on as well! More painting needed (I've been told), have most of a box of tiles thanks to work collegue so just need to buy enough to cover the rest of the wet walls! :)
