C-drama update
Here's what else I've seen recently. More updates later.
A Love So Beautiful - I liked this so much more than I imagined I would.
Le Coup de Fourde - I liked it just fine, but it's not high on my list.
Love is Sweet (currently watching as it airs up to episode 24) - The first 5-10 episodes were okay for me, but now I adore this so much.
The Untamed (up to episode 5) - this is beautifully filmed. The make up, costumes, special effects and actions scenes were better that I thought they'd be. I never thought a Chinese costume drama could scare me, but the creepy scenes creeped me out!
Here are some that I'm not sure I'll continue with:
Count Your Lucky Stars (up to episode 8) - the age gap is really getting to me and so is Jerry Yan's dubbing. But sometimes the first 10+ episodes aren't very interesting, so maybe this is one of those.
My Roommate is a Detective (up to episode 2) - not digging it too much and seems like it'll be formulaic. It could just be my preference for romcoms and xianxia at the moment. I was curious as to if Hu Yitian is a good comedy actor. Can't tell from these episodes.
