I'm on one-hour delay, because Life sort of owns me on Wednesday nights. It's just the way the world works.
Is it just me, or does Jack get prettier every week?
Senior citizens? What exactly is Sweet P on?
Christian's hair is FIERCE this week, y'all. No, really. So fierce that I keep expecting it to jump from his head and beat the shit out of one of Ricky's hats.
Okay, so this is actually a difficult challenge. Because one of these things is hard enough, but three of them? Doomed to horribleness.
That said? I want to see a zoot suit made of pleather with fringe. Sort of a lot. I'm so going to steal this challenge for the bandom AU, is what I'm saying.
Oh, fucking hell. I could not make someone up any better than Christian, you know? He's like a cartoon character, and I love him to tiny little shiny gay emo pieces.
At least Ricky isn't crying this week. You know, yet.
Kevin's beard really annoys me. It's like, snowballing amounts of annoyance every week. At this point, I'm hoping that when Christian's hair finally makes a bid for freedom, it takes out Kevin's beard on the way.
(I really want to see Ellen Page's new movie, but I fear that it'll be some weird mix of twee heartwarming family shit and morality play about teen pregnancy. Where is my personal movie reviewer when I need one?)
Does Mood even sell pleather? I bet they don't, and Jack had to duck around the corner to a JoAnn's.
Huh. Steven is actually funny, which is nice to know because I was beginning to think that he was just a cardboard cutout, like the prom kids in the "Dance, Dance" video.
Wow. Victorya is a bit of a Kara Saun-style bitch. I mean, I didn't like her all that much before, but now I sort of actively dislike her. And she's going to make Ricky cry if she doesn't stop ignoring him.
Tim Gunn! There can never be enough Tim Gunn. Also, Christian is such a fanboy for him that it's ridiculous.
And wow, Victorya is really driving me crazy this episode. She's just...gah. Like somebody put Kara Saun and Wendy Pepper in a blender and turned the whiny passive-aggressive attitude up to eleven.
Elisa's outfit is adorable and she hasn't been edited as kooky at all this week. Or maybe it's just proximity to Victorya that makes her more appealing to me?
Kit has an awesomely shiny sequined hat. I want it like burning.
Jillian wants giant 80s hair on the models. She just doesn't want to say that out loud.
Chris's dress is lovely, but that jacket. Ick. I think my mother had a throw pillow in that pattern for a while in the early 90s.
I'm sort of confused about where the poodle skirt is in the first set of outfits. But at least they all look like they belong together.
Oh, shiny. I like Kit's dress/vest thing a lot. And the whole set, really. Maybe not so much the smock-thing, but the others are nice. I have a thing for pinstripes.
Elisa's dress is boring and I really don't like it much at all.
Jillian's team wins? Seriously? Wow, didn't see that one coming.
Ricky! Don't cry, dude. Just don't cry, that's all I ask. And don't punch Victorya in the head, no matter how tempting it is. Also, Elisa always says herself. That's sweet, but a little misguided.
Chris dooms himself, right there. And Sweet P went last, how did she not know that question was coming? Five other people just answered that same request, and she didn't have time to think about it?
(Grr. Ellen Page is so awesome, and I really want to go see it. But Jennifer Garner makes me twitchy and cranky, because I sort of hate her a lot. *is torn*)
Oh, gee. I wonder if it'll be the two team leaders left? Why yes! Yes, it is. That's SUCH a surprise. Because that doesn't happen every time they have a team challenge.
Chris! Damn. I liked him, in that he didn't actively piss me off every five minutes like a lot of the designers this season. Oh, honey. I'll miss your Hawaiian shirts.
Wait, haven't we seen the Jack-angst-reveal teaser before?
