I think that that this is a cute story. Basically, friends who were house-sitting wrapped all the man's possessions in paper, while he was away.

To use anything, he first has to unwrap the item. It is a cute idea that is fun to read about, but I bet in reality, the situation becomes annoying fast. I doubt I would be able to voice the good cheer of this man.
