The Discards plot update and some thoughts on Innate
Chapter Three of The Discards is in the works, and while writing this chapter I suddenly realised something: I don't think I'm going to put romance into it. I got one of the final scenes in my head the other night, and I realised how much better it would be without the romantic aspect in it, and thus I decided to junk it. Sorry e.e;.
I've been trying to update Innate for weeks now, but every single time I try, something blocks me. I want to have enough creativity to stray from canon and still make it work, and while I know the ending and admit that it's definitely not canon, I still fear falling into patterns and just rewriting the original episodes. I think it's because I like season three so much that I don't want to tweak too much of it, but without tweaking, it's not much of an AU, is it? See why I'm having trouble?
