Where are you guys getting that he said they shouldn't have made a comeback? As a Shinhwa fan I was ready to be butthurt about it, but that wasn't the case. The most offensive thing he said was comparing Shinhwa to SClub7. Come on. At least N'Sync or BSB. :/ But Simon wasn't being abrasive. he asked to be corrected and stated he was only forming an opinion based off the numbers their polls were getting. He didn't diss their music at all. He said they weren't that popular with the young generation, and honestly I think he's right.

When we see these stupid fanwars breakout when DBSK fans offended HOT fans and kept making it worse by saying DBSK was better...that's proof. When all these new idol groups perform songs by Shinhwa and HOT and the new fans act like it's better than the original, or have never even heard the original...that's proof. It's sad, but kpop is very shallow. Pop is very shallow. My generation was more likely to know Brittney Spears' version of Satisfaction than the Rolling Stones' version.

To be honest I think people who already hated or were annoyed with S&M watched this and just got way too butthurt, because this was just a politely given opinion. I may disagree with parts of it, but that doesn't make it invalid or offensive. :/

the part where they said it was like sclub 7 getting back together and that it was just not right. also when they said that their friend thinks they shouldn't invest that much in their comeback. basically they implied that they shouldn't even try. yeah i agree on the younger generation not knowing them, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't try and expand their fanbase. i mean they have been gone since 2008 and just by going by youtube comments alone they have gained a lot of new foreign fans through this comeback.

i didn't think his opinion was offensive/invalid but i was just a little put off by it that's all : )
