Singer Shit-ri, who was released after serving time in prison for the 'Burning Sun incident', refuted overseas reports that he was attending an event held in Indonesia at the end of this month under the name 'Burning Sun Surabaya', saying it was "unfounded", but he was recently spotted at a club while staying in Indonesia.

According to Maeil Business Newspaper coverage on the 12th, Shitri was seen several times on the 10th at S Club, located on the beach in Bali, Indonesia. The distance from Bali, Indonesia, to Surabaya, eastern Java, is about 300km in a straight line and takes about 50 minutes by plane.

In the tip-off video obtained by this newspaper, Shitri is seen talking to one or two women, who are presumed to be Korean, at the club. When a woman asked, “Shithyeon (Shitri’s real name), will you buy it for me?”, Shitri responded, “I will buy it for you, I will buy it for you.”

In addition, one person in Shitri's group is known to have encouraged other Korean tourists, "Our dorm is 5 minutes away, so let's go and have fun together."

According to 'Allkpoop', an American Korean Wave media outlet, on the 11th, event management company TSV Management announced on their Instagram story on the 9th that they plan to hold an event called 'Burning Sun Surabaya' on the 31st. It was announced that Shitri would attend as a special guest.

Shitri later told a media outlet, “I want to stay quiet, but my story keeps coming out, so I think people will get tired, so I want to set the record straight.” He added, “(Omitted) I don’t even know where the Indonesian region mentioned in the article is, and the name of the club is too similar (Burning) Sun. It says that I will be going on August 31st, but I have no plans to do so,” denying the report by ‘Allkpoop’.
