Kim Do-hyun, Kim Nam-hee, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young and Choi Jae-rim guested in episode 866 of MBC’s entertainment program “Radio Star” on May 15th.
On the show, MC Kim Gu-ra said to Tiffany, “‘Being left out’ is too much, but it seems like the company is not caring for you as much as they did during your peak?”.
In response, Tiffany said, “I already left the company and only returned there to prepare and practice for Girls’ Generation’s 15th debut anniversary project. I felt unfamiliar with the building and even the parking lot was a little strange”. She added, “They told me to show my visitor pass and asked, ‘Why are you here?’, and I said, ‘I’m here for Girls’ Generation’s rehearsal’. Then they told me to write down my number and asked my manager, ‘Can I have your ID? Please wait over there’. I said ‘Okay’ and felt so awkward”.
Tiffany revealed that the parking fees in the Seongsu-dong building were high, adding “When I left the building after practice, I said, ‘I’m here for Girls’ Generation practice’, and they told me, ‘Ah yes, you’ll just have to pay for it’”.
Tiffany continued, “There’s a cafe inside SM’s new building. Since I worked for the company for 13 years, I thought I could at least get a coffee”, adding “I said, ‘Can I have that americano?’, and the staff said, ‘It’s 4500 won’. Sunny showed up and said, ‘I’ll order it under my name’, so I said, ‘One americano under Sunny’s name, please’”.
Tiffany commented, “Didn’t they buy the building thanks to us?”. Kim Gu-ra said, “You left to do whatever you want on your own. Are coffee and parking fees that important?”.
Earlier, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, who already moved to Antenna, appeared on JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” and expressed his frustration about paying parking fees at SM building when he came for Super Junior’s practice. As his comment gained huge attention, Kyuhyun clarified, “I later found out that SM rents the building too, and even the employees have to pay for parking. It was my misunderstanding.”
