Happy Friday the 13th! Well, I recovered from the food poisoning last week only to go straight into my period AND a damn head cold that will not go away. So another short post this week lol. Every week I go through the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we are going back to the 2nd week in October, 2011.
#3 Infinite “Paradise”
This was the lead single from the repackaged album of the same name. It was the follow up to the group’s big breakout, “Be Mine”. I don’t remember this song at all. Here’s the group’s stage performance at the Golden Disk Awards a few years later.

#2 Huh Gak “Hello”
After winning Superstar K in 2010, he released “Huh Gak 1st Mini Album”. But after joining his company he released “Like 1st Mini Album ‘First Story’”. So what is the truth and which is his official debut? I don’t know and don’t care, but this is the lead single from the later album. Which may or not be considered his debut single. But it was a hit, and would take the top spot. It is also his biggest selling song.

#1 Brown Eyed Girls “Sixth Sense”
After almost two years away, the group would return with their fourth album, “Sixth Sense”. This was the second single from the album. The song would debut at the top spot, which the album peaking at #2. It is one of their biggest selling songs, and would take a handful of music show wins. It’s been a while, so let’s check out the music video again with them being so damn cool. I was obsessed with this back then.

Honorable Mentions
#4 Kara “Step”
The group spent most of the year in Japan, but returned to Korea for a month to release their 3rd Korean album, “Step”. Then they went back to Japan. I loved that they dropped this banger and then left lol. Both the song and the album would peak in the top three on the charts, with the song winning a handful of music show trophies. Here's a stage from Music Core.

#5 Davichi “Don’t Say Goodbye”
This was the lead single from the duo’s EP “Love Delight”. The whole album was leaked a few days before the official release, which probably sucked from them and the company. But it was a success nonetheless. The song would hit the top spot, and the album in the top three. It is also their biggest selling song.
