Every week I go through the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we are going back to the 5th week in June, 2013. 10 YEARS! Most of the songs were posted before, so this week we’ll check out their comeback stages. Enjoy this post filled with sexy ladies. And EXO lol.
#3 Ivy featuring Yubin “I Dance”
This was the lead single from her EP of the same name. It was her first comeback in two years, and her first dance album since 2009. I think I kinda remember this song. The chorus sounds familiar. She’s been working steadily as a musical actress for over ten years. She was last seen earlier this year on stage as
Satine in “Moulin Rouge”. Here’s her Music Core comeback.

#2 After School “First Love”
I miss this. Like, I’m not saying I want everybody up on poles again, but I miss grown sexy women being grown and sexy and I just miss After School okay. This was their first time working with Brave Brothers since 2009 (I always forget this is their song, until I hear this intro. cause i hate it so much). The group would spend the rest of the year, and a lot of the next year too, doing promotions in Japan. This would end up being the group’s last Korean release before hiatus. Here’s their Music Core comeback stage.

#1 Sistar “Give It To Me”
Summer Queens are here! This was the lead single of the group’s second and final full album of the same name. I think I’m in the minority, but this was just okay for me. But the song was a hit! It won 11 music show trophies, including a triple crown at M Countdown. It would also be nominated and win a few year end awards as well. All of the top three artists this week made their Music Core comebacks on the same day! Busy day at MBC.

Honorable Mentions
#9 Rainbow “Sunshine”
I have a soft spot for cutesy Rainbow, so I loved this shit lol. GO JERRY BOY! It’s a great summer song! And this music video is just so adorable and fun! My favorite thing is when they are lining up for water guns and Yoonhye doesn’t get one because like her face is a weapon lol. This was the lead single for part 2 of the group’s “Rainbow Syndrome” album.

#10 EXO “Wolf”
This was the lead single of the group’s debut studio album, “XOXO”. This song would give them their first music show win, and peak at #10 on the charts. I always forget about this era until I see it. But I think I remember the choreography more than the song itself. Like the tree thing. And how they made wolf ears lol. Here’s their Music Core comeback stage.
