Haegeum (lifting the ban) is a song about the meaning of freedom while Amygdala depicts the image of SUGA who brought out his own trauma and tried to free himself from painful experiences.

SUGA about Haegeum: The song is as much as a message to himself as it is to the wider world: "I'm a slave to capitalism, to YouTube, to money, and I have to say that to myself so I won't be like that."

Music has the power to inspire but we cannot be free. We can still find some form of emancipation by being less conscious of other people's opinions and finding a way to make ourselves happy."

According to SUGA, Amygdala is the most personal song and music video he's ever created that reveal the most traumatic experiences of his life (motorcycle accident, mother's heart surgery, father's liver cancer, dealing with depression, anxiety and ptsd, taking medications) and shows the difficult process of trying to forget about the past. Amygdala is an almond-shaped part of the brain structure that plays an important role in learning and remembering motivation, emotions, fear and anxiety.

TW: self-harm, blood (the MV is also age restricted)

D-Day ends the Agust D Trilogy. SUGA revealed that he's already planned its end back in 2016 when he released his first mixtape but he can't say it's the end of Agust D.

Although Suga has received many proposals of soundtracks for movies, he doesn't think he can do it right away. He was like "I'll make music until the day I die. If it's regarded as running a marathon, I think I can do it one day" pic.twitter.com/f4fSlPERzm
