On April 24, an official from Mnet’s “Queendom Puzzle” shared, “Lee Chae Yeon, Yeeun, Haein, JooE, Kei, and Shiroma Miru have confirmed their appearances on ‘Queendom Puzzle.'” An official additionally confirmed, “Weeekly will be starring on ‘Queendom Puzzle.’ However, it will not be all the members but only a few,” and shared, “It is true that H1-KEY’s Riina and Hwiseo are starring on the show.”
Mnet further confirmed that former IZ*ONE members Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi, who were previously reported to appear on “Queendom Puzzle,” will not be participating in the show.
Lee Chae Yeon and Shiroma Miru previously appeared together on Mnet’s “Produce 48.” Afterwards, Lee Chae Yeon debuted as a member of IZ*ONE and has since been active as a soloist, while Shiroma Miru recently returned to Korea after concluding her activities in Japan.
Also through “Queendom Puzzle,” Yeeun, Haein, JooE, Kei, Riina, Hwiseo, and the Weeekly members will be taking on a different kind of challenge than their past activities with their respective groups.
“Queendom Puzzle,” which previously confirmed Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon as the MC, is a spin-off variety show that will form a powerful global project girl group by taking members from currently promoting girl groups as well as female artists and putting them together like a puzzle.
“Queendom Puzzle” will unveil the full lineup of participating artists in May, and the show will premiere in June.
