Fly to the sky's Hwanhee claims "We Got Married" was totally not scripted

On February 26th, Hwanhee posted on his Youtube channel a new video titled “Hwanhee sees reactions and read comments about ‘We Got Married’”.

In the video, Hwanhee said Youtube algorithms recently show Shorts video of “We Got Married” he filmed with Park Hwa Yobi in 2008, so he would rewatch and make a review about the program.

Prior to that, Hwanhee said, “Many people who watched ‘We Got Married’ may wonder ‘Wasn’t it scripted?’. Among celebrities, I think I’m probably in Top 3 who can’t follow the scripts. I don’t know what happened after I left the show, but at the time I filmed it, there was no script at all”.

The scripts Hwanhee received during the filming only contained the main topics, such as “Today, the couple is having a housewarming party”. Hwanhee said even when he and Park Hwa Yobi didn’t know what to do and stayed still, the camera just filmed the two that way.

Hwanhee once again emphasized, “It was almost like a reality show. We were supposed to be a couple for the Chuseol special episode only, but I guess viewers enjoyed watching us so we became fixed cast”, adding “Among all the programs that present real footage without a script, isn’t ‘We Got Married’ the best?”.

Even after “We Got Married” ended, netizens continued to raise suspicions of the program’s content being scripted. In particular, this theory was further strengthened when idol members joined the cast.

In response to Hwanhee’s revelation about the script of “We Got Married”, some netizens commented, “It might not have been scripted in the beginning”, “The tension of celebrities in the early days and the later parts of ‘We Got Married’ are so different”, etc.
