A lot of V-tubers and streamers using animated avatars generally have some sort of anime/game inspiration for their persona as a virtual character. So foxes/kitsune, wolf girls (like Spice and Wolf the anime) or even Demons/Vampires are fairly common.

I'm not really into V-tubers, but a friend of mine is very into them and explained it to me; she is also a massive anime fan so there seems to be a crossover in who watches this type of content. Hope that helped!
