Click to viewSo, OP doesn't speak or read Korean, so it's a bit hard for me to research - but it seems that in the last few months, youtuber Poongja (Yoon Bomi, 34) has gone semi-viral, both for her hilarious and comedic persona, and also for her honesty and openness around her experiences as a transwoman in South Korea. I'm not going to do a write-up on how this has happened - I don't have the means - but I thought that to brighten up our Sunday evening, we'd all like to see videos of a transwomen being cool and funny and appreciated amongst some majorly established Korean celebrities. She's witty, frank, and never hesitant to be the main character, and a genuine joy to watch. Happy Sunday!
They aren't subbed so I can't post them here, but as far as terrestrial tv goes, Poongja has also appeared on Channel A's 'Oh Eun Young's Golden Clinic', 'Hidden Singer', 'KBS Diet', and 'Dolsing Fourmen', among others. Her recent videos on the 'Something Fun Is Coming' youtube channel now have English subs, and you can find her own youtube channel here, but it has no subs.
