Making this poll felt super bittersweet since I like so many of these songs but with everything that has come out in the last few years it’s hard to call myself a fan. So like certain other groups it’s easier to enjoy their music since the group is done (I know they didn’t officially disband but we all know it’s over). I don’t have any attachment to the group now but I’ll enjoy the memories I made with previously

the link to the secret poll goes to the bts poll, fyi! here's the right link: https://omonatheydidnt.livejournal.com/29360518.html oh aoa, one of my all-time ultimate groups. they had so many amazing hits but i have to vote for heart attack, it really screams "peak aoa" to me. the height of their fame, they were so gorgeous, sexy and fun (even if we now know there was a lot of strife behind the scenes) but ugh, suuuch a good song to this day. the ultimate sporty concept. all their hits leading up to it were great too. special shout out to confused which was my gateway drug to kpop, i already liked 2ne1 but i didn't have any interest in other kpop groups until i saw the confused dance practice. as a lesbian, i enjoyed it a lot. (though i showed it to my gf recently and she wasn't very impressed at all. she found the lip-touching move awkward and unsexy. different strokes.)
What a bittersweet post for me. AOA is the first group I followed for their entire career - from the posts made here about their pre-debut flash mob to their demise when Jimin's bullying and everything else came out. So much of their music was fun for me and while they reached big highs I will always wonder about things like if AOA Black could have been kept with more support.
If I really think about them then my choice 100#% is Miniskirt - it was THAT GIRL! And I kept it as my ringtone (the second part of the first chorus, to be specific) for a full year after it came out.
it's heart attack for me! it's a song i still revisit a lot, it's so catchy! i feel like though for aoa, i loved their concepts more than their music (see: like a cat, excuse me). i liked come see me a lot too.
i think being under the management of a better company would've helped the group a lot, most of all with the mina-jimin scandal.
i pm started to check out once choa left, but the jimin scandal really killed any love i had left for the group 😩 i still enjoy excuse me and good luck tho. i really liked their debut concept, i wish they had stuck with that tbh.
