She said at one point she preferred when she wasn’t promoting which is like a huge sign that she’s done with being an idol. I think everyone loves a break but if she knew promotions were coming up and she wasn’t looking forward to it that’s a sign a move on and I’m glad she did it the moment she could. Plus I think she was injured before, so I don’t blame her if she doesn’t want to risk it further.

I thought there was talks of Mimi wanting to leave so it looks like they weren’t true/she changed her mind.

Also realistically she wasn’t the biggest draw for the group, even when I did follow OMG I didn’t pay much attention to her tbh. But I’m sure during variety stuff and fan service she was engaging, but I think OT6 will be just fine for OMG.

Edit: interesting to see she was a fave for plenty of members while she didn’t really leave a lasting impression for me haha. But I just followed their comebacks idk how she is outside of just the music

She had seceral health issues, she had to sit down during the Secret Garden era due to an ankle injury if I remember well. Then after Bungee's promotions, she had a hiatus because of her anxiety. An another injury during Dun Dun Dance :( probably a consequence of the first injury not being given enough time to heal properly. I'm not surprised to see her leaving OMG.

Anyways, it's a shame for the fans and the group but they had a great run together. Good for her if this is what'll make her happy

Mimi has renewed as well, WM confirmed.
But it was a toss-up with her, the other 5 renewed earlier while she and Jiho still had discussions

She was my favourite when OMG debuted :) I don't follow the group as much as I used to but it's not surprising to me. She had injuries that made performing a lot more difficult, and she seemed over idol life in general, even if she always did her part. She also didn't have as many lines as she used to. I can see her trying to switch over to acting and modeling, or just retire from the industry.
As much as I loved her, the members will be fine as 6. Good luck to all of them!
