I KNEW they were going to turn that elevator into a plot point! Poor girls, getting stuck on one is always terrifying but judging by the preview of the next episode there are going to be a lot of "people getting locked into things" scenarios.

[Spoilers]

I am so curious who Gyeong's fake dad/gardening man/rando at the police station really is. What's his deal? How did we not notice it was the same bald man ruining everybody's fun by popping up at inopportune moments? How does he have so many, extremely specific jobs? How much does it pay to be a hanky hander at the police station interrogation room? Is it me or are people way too focused on the teenage sociopath to realise there is also something extremely weird about a middle aged murder handyman looking for trade at an all girls high school?

Also omg when they called the number is was their homeroom teacher, wasn't it? I completely overlooked it at the time because of the quick switch of scene but if he bought the poison mushrooms does that mean he's also involved? Is Gyeong just collecting middle aged men to do her bidding? How is she paying them? She can't have a part time job AND good grades! She must have some serious dirt on them

Jaejae definitely has a secret social justice Tumblr because I swear you can make a drinking game out of the amount of times she has used the word "gaslighting" this season. Poor Yena keeps getting betrayed! Give that girl some consolation Mychew!

I think something is going to happen with Jiwoo next episode. Maybe they will have to work together to crack a code or she'll kick down a door or pry everyone out of that elevator. She has to turn up somehow and if something bad happened to her I think we would have seen evidence in this episode and she was obviously onto something. I thought for a moment that she might be Geong's little sister covering her birthmark with make-up but that doesn't add up and will be another mystery to solve. I also wonder if anyone is going to remember to get PDnim out of whatever trunk he's been stuffed in because it looks like there is just so much going on next episode.

Genuinely laughed out loud at Gyeong in the last few seconds of the preview literally being shown as "bitch eating (rice) crackers". Did she also manage to herd snack lady inside or is she just watching from her little booth as gas starts pouring out of the entire building?

[Spoiler (click to open)]No, it wasn't their teacher's number. They called the mushroom number, some dude answered and then they heard their homeroom teacher’s voice (with his satoori) in the background, addressing the speaker as ‘so-and-so’s father.’ So they realized that whoever answered the phone/bought the mushrooms must be in the middle of a parent-teacher conference with their teacher so he’s the parent of someone in their class and in the school building that very second which is why they rushed over to try and see who it was. It was done pretty confusingly though, I had to rewatch to figure out what was going on

I think the implication is that since Youngsun/Kyung is the only surviving or accounted for member of the Sunwoo family, who were super rich, she's using their money somehow so she's paying that guy to help her (and she'll be able to do whatever she wants with all of their money once she becomes a legal adult, which is part of why Heejung aka "good" mask was trying to give the mystery club clues abt Kyung's identity). And I said this in my comment below but I agree abt the weirdness of the overly convenient omnipresent henchman(men?) doing everything. Dude better be making bank with all the jobs he’s holding down for Youngsun lol

That makes WAY more sense, thank you! I was so confused at that scene. I hope mystery henchman gets a proper backstory because there's so much that still doesn't make sense.

lmao the amount of times i've heard the word gaslighting in this show! i thought it was cute when they said 'turn the gas off' or something like that to help someone get out of their gaslighting situation

Haha yeah them covering Yena's ears to "turn of the gas" was so cute! Turn off the gas should definitely be new slang for leaving a toxic friend or partner. Season 3 Yena will have severe trust issues!
