Every week I check the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we are going back to the 1st week in August, 2013. I have a migraine that is really kicking my ass today. It’s making me really sleepy for some reason. So a quick post today.

#3 Crayon Pop “Bar Bar Bar”
The huge viral video and song. Up until recently I thought this was the only music video for the song. Turns out this the choreo version MV.

#2 Brown Eyed Girls “Kill Bill”
Another choreography video since I’ve posted the MV before. The song title was taken from the Quentin Tarantino movie, while the song was composed by JeA with lyrics by Miryo. It would peak at the #2 spot.

#1 f(x) “Rum Pum Pum”
This was the lead single from the group’s “Pink Tape” album, their first release in just over a year. Both the album and the song would claim the top spot on the charts. Here's their comeback stage at M Countdown

Honorable Mentions

#5 Ailee “U&I”
This song would only take a few hours to top the charts after its release. Her first number one song, it’s also the song that gave her her first music show win. Here’s her performance at Gayo.

#9 Girls’ Day “Please Tell Me”
Following the success of “Expectation” and “Female President” in March and June of this year, the group released this song in August. No music videos for this song, but plenty of music show live stages.
