Actors Song Seung-heon and Lee Ha-na have been confirmed to star in the fourth season of OCN's crime thriller series, "Voice."

Song will play Derrick Cho, a headstrong gang unit officer for the Los Angeles Police Department who collaborates with the Korean police to solve crime case. Lee will reprise her role as police officer Kang Kwon-joo gifted with perfect hearing-analysis skills.

Song and Lee will showcase their seemingly conflicting yet ultimately complementary work relationship.

"Voice" tells the story of a 112 emergency call center and its dispatch team solving mysterious crime cases using limited information they get from urgent calls. Jang Hyuk starred in the first season, followed by Lee Jin-wook who played the male lead in seasons 2 and 3. "Voice" received international acclaim and was sold to North America, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines among others.

Director Shin Yong-hwi, best known for his previous works such as OCN's "Tunnel" (2017) and tvN's "Cross" (2018), will helm the series. Ma Jin-won, who has written scripts for the first three seasons of the show, will pen the fourth installment.

"Song is most suited for the role of Derrick Cho, who is very charismatic. We believe that Song will bring out the appeal of Cho, a character who possesses top skills as a police officer, but hides emotional pain and secrets," the production team said in a statement, Monday.

"I initially felt lot of pressure about returning for the new season, thinking it should be better than the previous one. After receiving the script, however, I have good feelings for the upcoming season. I hope viewers will look forward to it," Lee said.

The fourth season of "Voice" will premiere in June.
