Sayuri To Join “The Return Of Superman” With Her Son
Sayuri will soon be joining “The Return of Superman”!
On March 23, a source from KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” revealed that television personality Sayuri would be joining the program as the newest parent in the lineup.
After becoming pregnant with a sperm donor, Sayuri welcomed her baby boy last year on November 4. Following her birth announcement on November 16, Sayuri received a lot of love and attention for her decision to raise her son as a single parent because of her dream of being a mother.
Sayuri has since been updating on the growth of her son through social media, and she’ll now showcase her life as a new mother through the program.
In an interview after she gave birth, Sayuri explained, “Even if they don’t have a father and their mother is alone, I believe that if she works hard, the child will understand. Although it would be best to have a dad, I hope that views on this change a lot.”
“The Return of Superman” team commented, “The ‘Superman’ in our program title means the very first hero that a child meets after they are born. Sayuri has also begun her journey as a superman, raising a child. As we were flooded with requests from viewers wanting to see the parenting of superman Sayuri, we are thankful that we were able to invite Sayuri as our newest superman.”
KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” airs every Sunday at 9:15 p.m. KST.
