i can't say that this was my favorite drama throughout its whole run ("my country" gotta take the crown for this season) but i was truly impressed by last 4 eps. everything just clicked in this drama last week (i loved the focus on pil gu living with his father and reasons for breakup) and final eps were some top quality television. genuinely impressed by writing because all relationships felt just so real and genuine. i can only rec everyone to watch this drama!

Yeahhh My Country definitely is the winner this year for me. This ànd Hotel del Luna are in my top 5 =)

I agree with a lot of what you shared. The plot is really nice and tight. Stories that crossed over other peoples lives were done well. The acting was also really good specially from our lady actors. Aside from Gong Hyo Jin, I really liked our lady lawyer, the moms of Dong Baek and Yong Shik, the neighborhood ahjummas...really good characters in the drama.

The plot is really tight and we have top quality acting from everyone. Definitely deserves the high ratings.

That was such a cute moment! KHN is really a good actor. Even as a supporting cast, his character always stands out. A great comeback drama for him after serving in the military.

It is really good. It started slow and steady. And the cast is composed of good actors. Everybody did their parts well.

The last part of your comment...LMAO. A shower scene while he was in deep thoughts on how the capture the Joker would've been an interesting scene.

I really liked the ordinary jobs/characters/countryside too. I adored the community, I felt it was real to life for smaller towns. They're busybodies, but also busybodies for you. I don't think I want to live in a small town again, but there are real, community, benefits to it.... I actually like this drama a lot, I'm just complaining about pacing and such.

The ones I don't like in don't even finish so I can't complain about them.....
