[Premiering August 5]I Wanna Hear Your Song A murder takes place. Hong Yi-Young (Kim Se-Jeong), who is a timpanist, does not remember what happened on the day of the murder. She is simple-minded and suffers from insomnia. Hong Yi-Young looks for a job. She happens to meet Jang Yoon (Yeon Woo-Jin). He is bad at singing, but is a pianist in an orchestra. To help with Hong Yi-Young's insomnia, Jang Yoon calls her every night. They try to find the truth about the murder.Meanwhile, Nam Joo-Wan (Song Jae-Rim) is an orchestra conductor. He has charisma and showmanship. Ha Eun-Joo (Park Ji-Yeon) is a violinist in the orchestra. She is arrogant.

In the world where Lee Jae-Sang came from, he broke up with Ra Shi-On ten years earlier and Ra Shi-On works as a detective. Lee Jae-Sang struggles to cope with his different selves.
[Premiering August 9]Be Melodramatic Im Jin-Joo (Chun Woo-Hee), Lee Eun-Jung (Jeon Yeo-Bin) and Hwang Han-Joo (Han Ji-Eun) are best friends and they are all 30-years-old. Im Jin-Joo is a drama series writer. She has emotional ups and downs. Her personality is a bit unique. Lee Eun-Jung is a documentary director. She runs her own production company and she is the only staff member in the company. One of her documentaries becomes an unexpected hit. Hwang Han-Joo is head of a marketing team for a drama series production company. She is a single mother. Hwang Han-Joo struggles to balance her work and raising a kid. Also starring Ahn Jae-Hong as a drama producer and Gong Myung as a marketing team employee.
Hip Hop King "Hip Hop King" follows the lives of four youths influenced by hip hop music. Young-Baek (Lee Ho-Won/Hoya) is an 18-year-old high school student in Daegu. Young-Baek loves hip hop music and wants to succeed as a rapper. To pursue his dream, Young-Baek goes to Seoul and begins to attend Doobak High School. Young-Baek meets Ha-Jin (Lee Na-Eun) at school. Ha-Jin wants to become a writer. She has a secret that nobody knows about. Tae-Hwang (Shin Won-Ho) and Ki-Ha (Han Hyun-Min) attend the same high school as Young-Baek and Ha-Jin. Tae-Hwang is a rapper and he has rich parents who are supportive of his career. Ki-Ha becomes friends with Young-Baek. He wants to find a girlfriend.
[Premiering August 21]Graceful Family Mo Seok-Hee (Lim Soo-Hyang) is an only child and her father runs the large company MC Group. She struggles over her mother's death 15 years ago. Heo Yoon-Do (Lee Jang-Woo) is a lawyer, but he doesn't even have an office. He solves small problems of neighborhood residents at a restaurant. Heo Yoon-Do is headhunted to join the TOP team at MC Group. The TOP team manages the affairs of the family who runs the MC Group. Their job includes covering up immoral or illegal behaviors done by the family. Han Je-Kook (Bae Jong-Ok) heads the TOP team. Mo Seok-Hee and Heo Yoon-Do work together to reveal the truth of what happened when Mo Seok-Hee’s mother was killed.
[Premiering August 22]Love Alarm A love triangle between a hardworking girl and two boys who like her is complicated by the release of a phone app that notifies you every time a person who likes you is within 10 meters. Starring Kim So Hyun, Jung Ga Ram and Song Kang.
[Premiering August 26]The Great Show Wie Dae-Han (Song Seung-Heon) is an ex-lawmaker and is a materialistic kind of politician. He wants to get elected as lawmaker again. One day, 18-year-old girl Da-Jung (Roh Jeong-Eui) comes to him. She tells him that he is her real father. Her mother raised four children, including Da-Jung, alone, but she died in a hit-and-run accident. Da-Jung is the only one now taking care of her 3 younger siblings. Wie Dae-Han accepts Da-Jung and her 3 younger siblings. He carries out “The Great Show” to become a lawmaker again. Also starring Lee Sun Bin and Im Joo Hwan.

[Premiering August 31]Strangers from Hell Yoon Jong-Woo (Im Si-Wan) is a man in his 20's. He has lived in a small town for all of his life, but he gets a job at a small office in Seoul. Yoon Jong-Woo moves out to Seoul and stays at a cheap apartment which shares its kitchen and bathroom with other residents. He doesn't like staying at the apartment and he doesn't like the other residents who seem weird and suspicious. Also stars Lee Dong Wook and Lee Jun Eung.
What upcoming dramas are you looking forward to? I'm looking forward to Be Melodramatic, I'm hoping for an Age of Youth type of friendship drama. Strangers From Hell will probably scare me to death but it looks good and Love Alarm looks cute. What have you been watching in July?
