I think the things that throws me off in kdramas that a lot of the emotional charging(?) in the scene is done like in an anime or something, they're really indulging in it to the point it's just over-the-top. Sometimes less is more y'know?
It was prob with me re: over-acting in kdramas lol. When this drama was initially announced I remember hoping it wouldn't be a comedy because I thought that was Jinyoung's weakest forte with him falling more easily into over-acting (or then he's doing just a fine job at it by kdrama standards but I personalty just don't like it). I think he does a much better job at the little nuances pf Ahn's character, like when Ahn says something stupid/wrong and then tries to save face, Ahn teases his friends over something, or the more serious moments when he's supposed to show restraint anger/sadness or something like that. Ahn's character is actually super versatile in that regard imo and Jinyoung does well in portraying all of that (and then ofc he's very good at the emotionally charged scenes but we knew that already).
I don't know why Ahn trust Sungmo when he abandoned him at the orphanage?? Or maybe we haven't heard the whole story yet but there's definitely a lot to question in the brother's character. Or maybe Ahn just depends on him because he's the only "family" he has (noooo poor Ahn, ia I feel like he's gonna get his heart broken) ;__;
I'm mostly the most interested in the romantic aspect of the drama asdfg at least that one is the easiest to follow along even if it has mostly been just teasing and nothing else lol (I can't believe they baited us with that pretend-kiss and then just gave us nothing in return asdfgh)

you're totally right about jinyoung being able to convey lee ahn's nuances really well. i agree with that, sometimes his facial expressions go from one to another so smoothly, i'm like... an actor! jinyoung is indeed an actor! lmfao but seriously i've noticed that he does one thing in particular so well, namely going from funny to serious (or the other way round). psychometry has a few of those scenes, like jinyoung joking around with his noona or even jaein and then suddenly something happens and his face totally changes. he's so good at the transition between facial expressions. also control of his voice! a lot of small nuances like you said, and sometimes it's things in a matter of seconds but the way he controls and changes his voice according to the situation is so fascinating lmfao i love it

And to me he seemed reluctant to help at first but then next thing we know he's jumping out the window with this kid he hasn't met before(?) which should've been a fatal fall but through some twist of fate or lazy plot writing they survive and he just... decided to take care of this kid, while still being a kid himself as well? Or well, clearly he had second thoughts if he abandoned Ahn once. Also dumb question but did Sungmo lose his parents in the fire as well or what's their deal??
I'm waiting for Ahn to have some kinda a heroic/cool moment in front of Jaein 'cause so far dude's not exactly been swoon-worthy in front of her lol (or maybe a few times but then he cancels them out with his dumbassery)
lmfao yes! i wasn't sure at first but it would make even less sense for sungmo to show up at the top of the stairs and not do anything at all, especially because they cut to a different scene afterwards (if i remember correctly) so yeah. just a whole lot of confusion! sungmo not being real in that scene just makes everything even more tragic lmfao not even all the eye candy will stop me from side-eying him!!!!! but i gotta admit they're the cutest when they bicker and joke around with each other :(

Twitter really is the worst in this case loool, luckily I don't have too many ppl talking/posting plot points but you only need one...
