Flashback Friday
Happy Friday! Every week I look through the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s see what was on top 4 years ago, for the 3rd week in April, 2014.
#3 HIGH4 & IU “Not Spring, Love, Or Cherry Blossoms”
This was the debut song for HIGH4, which IU helped write and then features on the song. I remember this MV, but not the song itself. This is one of those songs that has been appearing on the charts every spring.
#2 Akdong Musician “200%”
It’s still so freaking cute every time I see it! I remember really liking all their debut teasers and being so happy with this song and the video. It’s the sweetest! I have in the past and will continue to in the future, skip through the park to this song.
#1 15& “Can’t Hide It”
I found video teasers for this song but not an actual MV so I don’t know if there is one. So here’s a live performance. The song is good, and they both sound great. They are officially over? Wikipedia says they’re on hiatus, but it seems like they’re dunzo at this point.

#8 Apink “Mr. Chu”
For a time this song was so popular and I got so tired of seeing it everywhere. Also me: I’M FALLING FALLING FOR YOUR LOVE HEY YOU! They all looked good this era too. If I were to take up tennis again, this is how I would look doing it. (When I say “take up tennis again”, I mean I took it one semester back in college. And by “one semester” I mean a making an appearance at the court for a grand total of 3 classes before dropping it.)
#10 Eddy Kim “The Manual”
This is a single off of his debut album of the same name. I like this video, and the song is really nice too. I’d never heard it before, and I turned on the CC and was all “ohhhh I get it, like the title!” lol.
