I had too many emotions so I wrote an entire 1000 word plus fan account that's too extra for me to post here BUT here's an excerpt LOL:
Honestly… I cried for, like, the entire thing. Our seats were in the first row of the mezzanine, so we had a great view of the stage. The place was packed. I knew that they sold out the Detroit stop, but a small pessimistic side of me wondered if everyone would show up/if some people had bought multiple tickets. I don’t know, but every single seat I saw was filled. It was insane.
I’d already cried once when I walked in and saw the logo, then cried again when we got to our seats, but AS SOON AS I SAW THE MEMBERS WALK ONTO THAT STAGE, I STARTED BAWLING. I cried through the entirety of I Wait, and I almost couldn’t even look at the stage for Hunt, it was so glorious. Let me tell you: Day6 doesn’t sound like they ate their CDs when they perform live because THEY ADD ADLIBS, AND IT’S GLORIOUS I already knew this from watching fancams, but watching it and hearing it in person is another thing entirely. Every. Single. One. Of. Them added some live flair at some point during the concert. It was insane.
One of my favorite moments from the entire concert was at the end of the talk session. To transitions into their songs, Sungjin said, “Day6 is [a] band. Band is music.” and I just. I love them. So much. They care so much about what they're doing, and they're so clear on what type of musicians they want to be.
I basically just cried for the entire thing. My friend actually made a whole vlog that's me being gross and getting snot all over my face while I cry over Day6. I can't even regret it because I'm so so proud of them and how amazing they are. In their own words: Congratulations, you're unbelievable.
