*she was only there for mamamoo and she got 4 bts hi touches lol*
Holy crap. Who did she save in her past life to be so lucky. I'm sure she walked away from the convention loaded
I kind of hate the whole random thing too. It's very unfair, and I don't see what's so wrong with people paying directly for the engagements they want to actually go to. And messy for KCON not aligning the day for which the concert ticket was bought with the engagement passes given with it.
Despite all that, in a way, I kinda get it? I love Eric Nam to death (I was actually at his fan meet) but if people didn't receive engagement passes for him at random, I'm certain his crowd would have been even smaller than it already was. T.T (Which is a shame people he's so charming and was adorable during it). My friend end up going with me only because she couldn't sell hers.
Also, KCON makes a LOT of money off the fact that nobody is sure of what fan engagement tickets they're going to get. I don't know about you, but I know a hand full of people who bought multiple concert tickets to get more engagement passes and raise their chances of getting one for bts, or whatever group they wanted. Then they would sell the concert ticket for a slightly discounted price. Because of that, I don't think KCON is going to change their system anytime soon :/
I know right like can I be as lucky as her - she was so nice though like she asked my friend how much she was willing to pay ;-; I really hope she managed to get mamamoo tickets too especially since mamamoo seems like the second most hot commodity the second day.
I'd honestly rather go to Eric nams fan meet then bts since he knows English well enough to joke around in English so it has to be more engaging (it's too bad I couldn't make it early enough cause I'd actually buy a fan pass to his).
And wow - people actually bought multiple tickets? Part of me is like that's smart from a business perspective and part of me is like its messed up what companies will do for money. I mean - if you're making it random at least do it based on the day. Though what you said about making sure people showed up to certain fan meets of less popular artists (and in return making sure the more popular artists wouldn't cause a safety hazard at the fan meet lol) does make the randomness more practical then just selling it if only to avoid he fan meets turning even more into popularity contests.
Honestly this whole fan engagement thing was a big mess but kcon doesn't see the crying fans or people standing in the hot sun holding signs up the entire day - they only see the money they're making - so nothing really is going to change :/ (makes me glad I bought my ticket from someone selling it and not directly from kcon lol)
