“Yesterday, I was out of town, so I couldnt celebrate it with him. One day has passed since then, this friend is in a unit group called INFINITE F. I would like to request (their) song, called Heartbeat,” showing off such a warm affectionate feeling.

During the broadcast, Hoya reveals that his actual younger brother appeared in the film. Hoya says, “I’m the middle child of three brothers. The youngest one and I have a five year difference. We’re a bit awkward since I usually reproach him a lot.”

Hoya continues, “In the film, Jin Sang (Ahn Bo Hyun) tries to support Jin Ho (Hoya) in becoming a singer, but in real life, I’m trying to help my younger brother who’s trying to become an actor.” Hoya added that his younger brother appears as one of the team members in the group that Jin Ho is trying to debut in.

Hoya explains, “I don’t feel pressured showing my brother how I act. What is really pressuring is that I have to show him how I behave in my workplace. I think I was more careful of my actions since I have to be a role model for my little brother.”

On the show, Hoya opened up about what acting means to him. He commented, “To me, acting is like fulfilling all of my dreams.” Hoya added, “I wanted to do so many things ever since my childhood. I was greedy about my future dreams. I think I changed my mind about 100 times. So, acting is like fulfilling all those dreams.”

Hoya went onto explain, “When you’re acting, you can portray so many different types of people. It’s an opportunity where I get to do all of those things I wanted to do.”

Later, Hoya talked about an incident in Daegu where he pulled a prank on his fans. He commented, “I thought it would be a good chance for me to make funny memories with the fans. I asked the staff members and the director to say that I had to come back to Seoul due to an emergency.”

Hoya added, “But when that announcement was actually made, everyone got really quiet. So, I went back to the stage. I think the fans responded more passionately because of the prank.”
