pm this. I can never understand people having more than one "accident" child if they weren't planning and didn't want to have more.

the parents have been in korea 6 years, 4 of their ridiculous amount of children born in the country, but they're still speaking the most basic Korean? unacceptable. Completely Unacceptable.

the parents are responsible for the kids learning the language, and they've only just STARTED to teach them? i'm sorry, no matter how many kids i have, i would be getting them into a school asap. the dad works on a military base yet doesn't have access to the military schools? that sounds like bull tbh.

yeah, it's ridiculous that they're oging to start ~experiencing korea~ in the next episode when they've been living there for years. i could understand the older ones having trouble, but the youngers, especially the ones who would have been born there is just unacceptable. i was wondering how school goes for them, but i figured that they probably go to an american international school and don't have any meaningful interaction with the locals

Greg works at the military base, not a company so I guess they live in their own little word and don't need to interact with Korean people.
I'm more worried about the children. Don't they go to school? The oldest girls do all the job and Alison seems fed up. Ok, with a lot of sibling, you always have someone to play with however it's important to have friends outside your family in order to realise there are different ways of living and thinking.
Maybe they filmed it during vacations or the week-end. I don't want to judge after only one episode but it's hard.

squandered opportunity for the whole family. How can you not want to learn the language ?!
Duggar craziness right there.
I wonder if the rest are just waiting to bolt back to the states when they are 18? Their I lived in Korea stories are so shit, they just exist there. Cool story I was born in Korea and ....yup that's it.
