Mamonde looks promising, because if you have acne you should steer away of "massage in" kind of peeling, they can irritate skin further.

Yes, although I prefer strawberry version, smells like strawberry jam and is milder.

I can't with the "you see dead cells rub off", that's not dead cells it's cellulose! I love this kind of mask because they are very gentle and moisturising but they don't remove You skin on impurities in the amount to be visible if so You would probably need to go to doctor with terribly irritated skin at best.

I have similar issue with sheet masks tbh, they are very convenient but the amount of waste they produce make me steer toward sleeping packs.

I'm a bit iffy on products that "rub off" dead skin because I've read before that its more of the product itself balling up on the skin which gives the appearance that its doing something rather than actual dead skin being scrubbed off

also yessss, this post was exactly what I needed. I'm having a horrible breakout all over my cheeks, due to a bout of hormonal acne (damn you period!). usually I just get a zit here or there, but for some reason this time around I'm getting a lot acne bumps that are forming underneath the skin surface and omg it hurts. it can anyone recommend anything to calm the irritated area and get rid of the bumps? it doesn't even have to be a korean product, I'll try anything T_T

I can recommend primrose oil as supplement for hormonal acne, in my case (I know everybody reacts different) it worked miracle. Topically Skineye Centella Scar Ointment is my go to guy, didn't help with the scars much but is surprisingly effective on spots, and once a week enzymatic peeling (mine is based on glycolic acid)

Ooh sounds interesting, I'll give it a try. I'll look into the primrose oil later when I get off of work, thank you so much for your recommendations. T_T I hope they work out for me as well as they did for you, because god my skin has been stressing me out
