I've always got that sense from her. Not that she was arrogant but that she always seem to be smothering something behind her smile? I don't know, but I have the same issue (people mistaking it for arrogance) and recognized it right away in Ga-in. Even when she was on WGM and all giddy with jo kwon.

actually I really appreciated that she seemed to be able to feel comfortable around Kwon. Even if she often expressed it by yelling at him lol
