You can text "HAITI" to 90999 to donate $10 to American Red Cross relief for Haiti. The donation will be charged to your cell phone and show up on your next bill. I did it and it was easy. Help if you can. Click here to learn more!

You can also text YELE to 501501. This is a 5 dollar donation. Visit unicef.org to learn more.

lol I already sent in a text as soon as I read about that, but I wanted to do more. i'm glad someone linked me to help_haiti. trolleys has a thread, but I don't think she's offering Kpop. :(

Basically if you bid and win, I write whatever you want and you donate your money to one of the organizations on their list of recognized/official organizations dedicated right now to helping victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

So if basically someone will pay me to write and I'll donate the money? I'll give it a shot but I'm clueless about transferring money online...they email me it?

That's the list of some organizations. If you want to donate to them, the info on how will probably be on the organizations' websites. Do you have a credit card or paypal account?

If you decide to offer something, then you will write something, but whoever is bidding will pay that amount to the organization.

would you mind if i reposted with the list of participants in kpop fandom a couple days before the deadline for bids? i'm worried people will have missed all the edits i've been making to this post as new threads emerge, and since we have quite a few good writers willing to participate, it'd be a shame if they signed up for nothing
